We have developed an In-Row module that can be fitted directly onto our conventional inter-row cultivators.
We guarantee a very quick changeover from In-Row to Inter-Row configuration.
As long as the crop’s growth stage allows In-Row weeding, the modules remain mounted on the METIS, while the inter-row areas are, of course, weeded at the same time.
As soon as In-Row weeding is no longer required or becomes impossible, the In-Row modules can be removed and stored in a dedicated rack. Conventional weeding tools can then be fitted to the METIS, such as Lelièvre shares, rotary finger weeders, tine harrows, etc.
In-Row modules are currently very expensive. There is therefore no reason to leave them mounted on the cultivator when carrying out Inter-Row operations.
In conventional mode, our METIS machines can operate at speeds exceeding 10 km/h. The resulting vibrations and impacts could potentially damage the In-Row modules.
This modular approach allows farmers and contractors to maximize the use of their equipment, thereby improving its overall profitability.
From a sustainability and resale perspective, we believe this modular concept also makes the equipment easier to offer on the second-hand market.
