Agrivaux was founded by Pol Braine, a visionary with a passion for sustainable agriculture. In 1993, he set himself the mission of designing machines that would enable farmers to preserve soil quality while improving yields.
This vision inspired the creation of the METIS hoe, a revolutionary machine incorporating advanced technological solutions and designed to minimise environmental impact. Today, Agrivaux is managed by his daughter, Anne-Sophie, who has modernised the company while remaining true to its values of respect for nature and innovation.
Since its launch in 2020, the METIS hoe has undergone continuous development. Initially designed to provide an ecological alternative to chemical methods, it quickly established itself as a versatile solution for broad-acre and vegetable crops. METIS embodies years of research and close attention to farmers' needs.
Each version has incorporated new features, including advanced guidance modules, depth-management sensors and the ability to adapt to various crops. Today, with the V2 in development, METIS continues to push the boundaries of technology for farming that is more environmentally friendly and more profitable for farmers.
