Optional hydraulic stabilizer discs

The role of the stabilizer discs is to keep the front of the side-shift in line with the tractor, while minimizing the weight transfer of the weeder.

They must be anchored in the ground, whatever its nature and condition,

Principle :

Most of the weeder's weight must be transferred to the gauge wheels to guarantee tool penetration.

To do so,

an independent, closed hydraulic circuit, supplemented by two calibrated accumulators, automatically controls the cylinders that support the discs.

  • On soft ground, the cylinders extend and the discs descend.

  • Conversely, on hard ground, they retract and the discs rise.

In this way, the ground load on the discs and the transfer to the gauge wheels are +/- constant.
